Leon is currently competing in the Duckhams Yuasa Racing „From Sim to Reality" Championship — a talent-search format that takes sim racers through iRacing and Assetto Corsa qualifying rounds, a live karting shootout, and an interview stage. The grand prize: a fully-funded race drive in the Mini Trophy Championship at Donington Park GP Circuit, supporting the British Touring Car Championship (22–23 August 2026).
Update, 28 July 2026: Leon placed P5 of 22 in his qualifying group — behind Charlie Collins, William Chadwick, Will Foulkes and Hayden Bramley, ahead of Chris Hallatt, George T. Tyler, Max Andrews and Zain R. Khan — and has progressed to the karting round.

The 2023 ADAC GT4 Germany season took Leon across three race weekends — Nürburgring, Lausitzring, and Sachsenring. Regional newspapers covered two of them:

„Unbelievable. What I fought for so long has finally come true.“
At his Nürburgring debut, the shared #19 Aston Martin qualified in the top 3, and Leon brought the car home P7 in a wet first race. At the following weekend at the Lausitzring, the duo fought forward to a clean P14 in the first race, before a competitor's error took Rennhofer out at Turn 1 of race 2.
